There is this article on BBCPersian bringing forth this question whether Iranians would rather die than living. Majority of the visitors have written that they WANT to die in the situation they live in or they have thought of it in one way or another. They sound mostly educated people. At least visiting BBC and leaving comments on the website somehow shows that they belong to the middle class urban people mostly from Tehran and some other big towns. The paradox is that these people have not killed themselves yet.
So it made me think to myself that if I once happen to really want to kill myself-because I don't think I have ever think of it-what may prevent me doing it? The first immediate answer came to my mind was, I can't deal with "the life" after living it and knowing it for 28 years. How can I deal with something I know dick-all about it.
