It seems that we were much more "modern" in the Middle Ages than today when the curch believed that the earth was the center of the univers. That belief seems to have been dismissed but the new science with it's "modern techniques" still believe that Europe is the center of the univers. So they are still discussing who FIRST discovered the New World, America.

But wasn't it the native American, so-called "Indians" the first ones who discovered the "New World?" Or they were so stupid that they never discovered the place they lived in?
