Call for participants

Goossun Art-illery is holding several one-day training workshops in London during March and April. Work will concentrate on developing physical and vocal training for actors, dancers and musicians, with the potential for participants to contribute to the forthcoming HamletZar project

Sessions are from 10am to 6pm. Fee £18.

Goossun Art-illery facilitates theatre workshops, which are taught by our artistic director, Vahid. Participants gain in-depth practical knowledge of the craft through hands-on, intense exercise.

Vahid is a theatre director and an actor trainer. He began his career in Iran as the director of an experimental theatre group whose main focus was research on acting. In 2001 Vahid left Iran for Holstebro, Denmark to study with Eugenio Barba and Odin Theatre. He closely followed the work of Odin Theatre for several years. Meanwhile he has also studied with several masters of Oriental and Western theatre including Akira Matsui (Noh), Augusto Boal, Augusto Omulú etc. Vahid has been teaching acting in various workshops in recent years.
